Photo at left: 500 gallons per minute in a 17 inch bore hole, drilled with an Ingersoll-Rand TH-60 air rotary drilling rig. This well required a secondary 1070 cfm/350 psi boost air compressor to handle the high yield of the well while removing cuttings. This was a volcanic formation in the eastern hills of Napa County.
